Heart Fit - A strength and conditionning program geared towards those with chronic conditions. This gentle class will include a warm up, strength using weights and light cardio with a cool down that will leave your body feeling strong and healthy.

Heart Wise Exercise classes offered:

  • Parkinson's High and Low functioning classes - dynamic exercise class that packs a punch while providing modifications for heart health, mobility, and neurological symptoms. 

  • Seniors/Open classes 

 

Glebe Neighborhood Activities Group - Glebe Community Centre

Heart Wise Exercise Classes:

1. TMC: A challenging and dynamic whole body muscle conditioning class using body bars, hand weights, bands and balls.  This class works all your muscles!

2. Low, Strength & Stretch: Designed with the active older adult in mind, this class is a combination of low-impact aerobic options, muscular strength and endurance conditioning and flexbility training. Great for improving overall strength, balance, immune system function and sleep.
